Sell and redeem gift cards
Gift cards let one person buy studio credit for someone else. The buyer pays for a code, the recipient redeems it, and the amount lands as account credit they can spend on plans and classes.
- Where gift cards live. Buying and redeeming both happen on the member's own Gift cards page inside their portal. Point anyone who wants one to their account and open the Gift cards section.
- Buy a card. Under Buy a gift card, the buyer picks an amount in euro and can add the recipient's name. They pay through Stripe checkout, the same as any other sale.
- Find the code. We do not send codes by email yet. After payment, the new code appears in the buyer's list of purchased cards. Ask them to copy it from there.
- Share the code. The buyer passes the code to whoever they are gifting, in their own message or note. Each code carries its own euro value.
- Check the status. Every card shows its current status, from awaiting payment through to ready to redeem, redeemed, or cancelled. Wait until a card is ready before sharing it.
- Redeem a code. The recipient opens the Gift cards page in their own portal and enters the code they were given under Redeem a code.
- Credit lands. Redeeming adds the card's value to the recipient's account credit balance, shown on the same page. The credit stays until they spend it.
- Spend the credit. Account credit goes toward plans and classes at checkout, just like any other balance on the account.
Good to know
- A code can be redeemed only once, and each buyer sees only their own codes, so keep that on-screen list handy until the code is passed on.
- Gift card amounts are in euro and paid through the studio's Stripe, the same as a normal purchase.
